Calendar (schedule) page is now mobile-friendly — sidebar becomes a left drawer, month view uses dot indicators for events, week & timeline views scroll horizontally with sticky headers, tap a date to jump into day view.

Meeting room on mobile — chat & settings sidebars slide out from the right, the control bar slims to 5 buttons (mic, camera, share, more, end), and speaker & whiteboard move into a "More" menu to keep the screen clean.

Participant tile polished — proper pin icon (no more emoji), camera-off placeholder is now a centered gradient avatar with a soft glow, mic-muted badge gets a modern ring + shadow.

Participant grid on mobile is capped at 2 columns — tiles stay readable even with many participants (previously 3-4 columns made faces too small), sidebar/spotlight modes also auto-flip to a horizontal strip below.

Mobile devices auto-capture video at 480p30 with a 700 Kbps bitrate ceiling — saves phone-chip CPU and mobile data, while still looking good on small screens.

Excalidraw bundle (whiteboard + screen-share annotation) is now lazy-loaded — the ~500KB chunk only fetches when first used, making initial page load lighter especially on mobile networks.

Toast notifications (chat, raise hand, recording) no longer get covered by the floating control bar on mobile — toasts shift up automatically to stay visible.

In-meeting polls — host creates a question with 2-8 options, participants vote in real time, progress bars update live as votes come in. Supports anonymous and multi-choice mode.

New "Polls" tab in the sidebar — lists all active polls with count badge, plus a collapsible section for closed polls. Host can close or delete polls at any time.

New joiners not seeing ongoing polls — race condition while LiveKit had not yet registered the participant is fixed via lighter verification on the read-only endpoint.

Join requests lost when host had not connected to Echo yet — pending requests are now stored server-side and replayed to the host on connection.

Loading state when closing and deleting a poll — the button turns into a spinner so the action is clearly in progress, and double-clicks are prevented.

Live annotation on screen share — the screen owner toggles annotation mode, all participants instantly get drawing tools (pen, shape, arrow, text) with real-time sync.

Multi-screen share with independent annotation canvases — when two participants share screens simultaneously, each screen has its own annotation that does not overlap.

Screen share now uses full-fit (object-fit: contain) — shared content with different aspect ratios (e.g., vertical phone screens) is no longer cropped, full content visible.

Dual Share Screen — hosts can share two screens at once in a single meeting.

Picture-in-Picture mode — meeting stays in screen corner while you multitask.

Bandwidth savings ~15% from dynacast layer-pausing tuning.

Real-time collaborative whiteboard panel with drawing tools, sticky notes, and templates.

Download Chat Log — full meeting conversations can be exported as a text file.
